Timetable

These deliverables are currently under preparation, and we expect to basically complete the platform construction by week 10. Currently, it is the third week of the project, and the project team and platform framework have been designed. Over the next seven weeks, we expect to gradually complete the development of the following features:

Week 4: Online Community Features

This is the foundation for the implementation of our project. During this phase, we will focus on establishing the forum, developing the posting system, and setting up the announcement system. We will utilize cloud servers to enable real-time messaging and backup, ensuring the reliability and availability of the discussion features.

Weeks 5-6: Publishing Board

At this stage, we will complete the board dedicated to hosting and displaying works, which includes developing features for uploading and downloading works, as well as implementing version control tools. We will design a highly user-friendly interface with a search function and categorization to facilitate easy browsing and retrieval of published works. Moreover, we will provide detailed information about the review process, incentives, and the peer review mechanism for submitted content.

Weeks 6-7: Industry Collaboration Module

Building on the functionalities of the online community and example works modules developed earlier, we will complete the basic framework for the industry collaboration module during this period. This will include the development of chat group functionalities and the construction of the “Wanted” section. We will leverage the experience gained from the forum system to design the group chat features. Furthermore, the cloud storage utilized in the example works module will be shared with the industry collaboration module to enable seamless data integration.

Week 8: Project Collaboration Features

In this week, we will concentrate on enhancing the project collaboration features within the chat groups. This includes finalizing the specifics of online document collaboration and work management tools during this phase.

Week 9: Project Review

This is the part of the project where we review the entire project before it goes live. This week is designated for the assessment of the developed components’ usability and the confirmation of their proper functionality. Our emphasis will be on the evaluation of the stability within the chat and office features. We will execute data security and stress tests. It is imperative to ensure that data, once uploaded and stored, is adequately safeguarded, and that access to information is limited to authorized users only. Moreover, we will evaluate the system’s performance under conditions of high user concurrency, verifying that the platform remains operational and stable under load.

Week 10: Online promotion and knowledge base improvement

We will officially launch TechConnect, launch a marketing campaign, invite core members to sign up, and conduct a series of seminars to promote interaction and collaboration among users. After the platform has gained a certain degree of visibility, we will look for opportunities to cooperate with other databases, enrich white papers and case studies related to the IT industry, and expand the content of the knowledge base.
